Raid Our Gallery Photography Event

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center will host a large format photography art show on Monday, October 27 in the Hospital’s Cancer Center Atrium in Middletown, CT. This unique event features the work of some of the foremost large format photographers of today – and you have the opportunity to go home with one of their prints.

Large format does not refer to the image size, but the size of the film the image is captured on. The photographers use unique processes in developing their images including silver, platinum, glass and tin to create truly unique prints.

In partnership with the New England Large Format Photography Collective, the art show is part auction, part raffle and benefits the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center. Here’s how it works: there are 100 hundred gallery tickets available for sale. Each ticket is numbered. During the preview, each ticket holder selects their favorite prints in order of preference. During the random drawing, when your number is called, you may select an available print off your list of favorites. Last year, nearly everyone went home with one of their top choices.

Gallery tickets are $150. Fee includes reception and one print to take home. Reception only tickets are $25. Tickets are limited. Registration and reception start at 6:00 p.m., and the drawing at 7:30 p.m.
