Dr. Federico is a thoracic surgeon with specialized training in the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System and Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS). Using da Vinci®, Dr. Federico is able to offer patients a minimally invasive approach to lung cancer surgery. Dr. Federico was awarded his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Maine Medical Center, and served his thoracic surgery fellowship at Frenchay Hospital in England and Ottawa Civic Hospital in Canada.
