South Fire District Donates to Cancer Center
The Middletown South Fire District Firefighters Local 3918 IAFF recently donated $600 to the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center. The firefighters raised the money from a food booth at their recent annual Fire Safety Festival during October, which is breast cancer awareness month.

The Middlesex Hospital Outpatient and Cancer Centers are currently closed due to the weather related power outages currently effecting Connecticut. For Monday, October 31, all laboratory, radiology, physical and occupational therapy and cancer related appointments have been cancelled.
