Clinical Services

At the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center, a person with cancer is more than a diagnosis and standard cancer treatment plan. Each person is a member of a family — a father, a mother, a brother, a daughter. He or she may be facing other life crises such as job stress, aging parents, childcare, and financial hardship.

That’s why we strive to treat and support the whole person, and their family, keeping them as active participants in decisions about their cancer treatment. Each person is unique and therefore each treatment plan is also unique. The course of action decided by the patient, in consultation with their physician, may follow one of several different routes.
