Our Services

Our goal is to provide high quality breast imaging services that are available at a reasonable cost.

We provide a wide range of imaging including:

  • High-resolution 16- and 64- slice CT
  • Positron emission tomography PET/CT
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • PVR
  • Bone Density
  • Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy
  • MRI
  • Mammography
  • Breast MRI  (Breast MRI is used to complement mammography in the screening of high-risk patients, detection and characterization of breast disease, assessment of the local extent of disease, evaluation of treatment response, and guidance for biopsy and localization.)

Needle localizations

These are performed in conjunction with the surgeons at the Surgicenter for patients who require a wider area biopsy or lumpectomy.

Stereotactic Core Biopsy

We perform core biopsies of the breast performed by the Radiologist. The purpose of the biopsy under imaging guidance is to “sample” the area of concern. This can rule out whether a lesion is malignant or benign.  This may be performed using ultrasound, mammography, or MRI guidance.

Test Results

The results are available usually within 24-48 hours.  The quick response in test results helps to keep patient’s stress level at a minimum. The Radiology department works with the Breast Care Nurse Navigator to place the patient with a positive test result on the breast care pathway as soon as possible.
