What should I expect during my first visit with my surgeon?

From your first visit to one of our board-certified surgeons you will be treated by a compassionate and caring physician.  First, they will review your medical history and perform a physical exam.  Next, they will review any tests that have been performed such as blood work, x-rays, scans and biopsy reports.  Then they will discuss the diagnosis and the prognosis (the chances of your recovery) of the disease.  According to the diagnosis and prognosis, the surgeon will recommend an individualized treatment plan to best tackle the disease.  Finally, the surgeons will be able to answer any of your questions and be able to refer you to additional services as needed.
