Transportation

If you need transportation to the Cancer Center for an appointment, below is a list of organizations which may be of assistance.  They may be contacted Monday through Friday during regular business hours.  It is helpful to provide as much notice as possible, but most will require a minimum of 48 hours notice.

Transportation for radiation oncology patients only:

If you live in the Shoreline area, the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Department offers a FREE bus service to transport you back and forth from your home to your daily radiation treatments.

Patients using this service will have their treatment scheduled between 10 am and 11:15 am.  These patients should be prepared to wait (a maximum of one to one and a half hours) for others using the bus service to complete their treatments.

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center offers food and beverages in its comfortable atrium area and has a library on the premises. For information about the bus service, please talk with the staff in Radiation Oncology or call (860) 358-2100.
