Project Pink Celebrates Breast Cancer Survivors

“Project Pink,” a makeover and fashion show event featuring breast cancer survivors, will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2012, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam.

A total of ten breast cancer survivors will receive makeovers. Clothing and accessories will be provided by The Red Door Boutique of East Hampton; hair and make-up provided by EG Salon of Middletown.

Debbie Wright will be the emcee. Wright is a fashion stylist and a contributor on WFSB-TVs “Better Connecticut,” and 96.5 WTIC-FM’s Damon Scott Show. The event is sponsored by the Middlesex Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center and the Center for Survivorship and Integrative Medicine and cosponsored by After the Storm, Inc. and EG Salon.

Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served and there will also be a silent auction. Tickets are $40 each and must be purchased in advance by April 12. To purchase tickets, go to www.middlesexhospital.org/projectpink or call (860) 358-2046.
