Tree of Lights
Middlesex Hospital Hospice & Palliative Care invites you to purchase a light on our Tree of Lights. Each light on the tree in Middletown’s South Green Gazebo will be shining in honor or in memory of a friend or family member.
A minimum donation of $5.00 is recommended for each light. The actual lights are symbolic, but we will have a list of the names, in whose memory or honor the lights were purchased, displayed next to the tree at the tree lighting; and the list will also appear on our website throughout the month of December.
We invite you to join us when the tree is lit on Friday, November 23, 2012 on the South Green in Middletown. Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. and the tree will be lit at 5:45 p.m. This event is in conjunction with the City of Middletown’s Holiday on Main Street.
Our Hospice and Palliative Care Program is dedicated to helping those who are terminally ill live their lives to the fullest. The Program supports and assists patients and their families in making important decisions regarding their care focused on enhancing the patient’s quality of life. The goal of Hospice is to enable patients to remain in their own homes as long as possible with the aid of family, Hospice staff and volunteers. The Middlesex Hospital Weiss Inpatient Hospice Unit is also available for periods when more specialized care is necessary.
You may purchase a light online or by mailing in the purchase form. For additional information contact Kathleen Russo at 860-358-6804.
