Visitor Restrictions Due to Flu

Due to the prevalence of the flu in Connecticut, Middlesex Hospital is now limiting visitors to immediate family members or a designated support person. A maximum of two visitors may visit a patient at one time, and all visitors must be at least 18 years of age unless special permission is granted. These restrictions are effective immediately.

Anyone with flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to visit patients at the Hospital. Symptoms can
include fever, vomiting and coughing, diarrhea, body aches and headaches.

Anyone who visits a patient at the Hospital must clean their hands.

Middlesex Hospital designates this activity for up to 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1 Prescribed credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has assigned 1 cognate credits (Formal Learning) to this program.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  

 

This is a Multidisciplinary case conference during which recent breast cancer cases are discussed to help plan treatment.
