Bio

Rachel Kaunas, MS, RD, CD-N is a registered dietitian at Middlesex Health. 

Education & Training

Rachel earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of St. Joseph, where she also performed her dietetic internship. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetic Sciences at New Mexico State University.

Rachel has special training in obesity, digestive health and care for patients experiencing unintentional weight loss.

Personalized Care

Rachel provides outpatient nutrition counseling for patients with a wide range of diagnoses. She focuses on treating each patient—not just their diagnosis—because nutrition therapy is not "one-size-fits-all."

Outside of her practice, Rachel loves the outdoors, a good meal, animals and singing show tunes for karaoke.
