Daniel H. MacArthur, MD is a fellowship-trained vascular and interventional radiologist at Radiologic Associates of Middletown and Middlesex Health.
Dr. MacArthur is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. He completed his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. MacArthur performed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Tufts Medical Center and his internship in internal medicine at Steward Carney Hospital. He earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland.
Dr. MacArthur has a special interest in interventional oncology (radiologic treatment of cancer), including chemo- and radio-embolization and percutaneous ablation (removal/destruction of tissue) of tumors. He also specializes in:
- uterine artery embolization,
- venous access procedures (catheter placements),
- biliary (bile duct) intervention, and
- dialysis access.
