It takes courage, strength and resilience to battle and survive cancer and to face any personal struggles that come with such a diagnosis. As a result, it is important to recognize cancer survivors, and Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center does so annually at its Survivors Day Celebration.

A second party will be held June 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Essex, 30 Main Street in Centerbrook.
