The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center hosts a variety of events to bring together patients, families, loved ones, and other community members who are connected by their experiences with cancer. We also offer a variety of seminars and classes to promote health and wellbeing.

Health and Fitness
From alleviating pain and anxiety to reducing the risk of recurrence, regular exercise and stress reducing practices have proven benefits for cancer patients and survivors. Patients, families, and community members can choose from a variety of traditional and alternative fitness and group therapeutic classes, many of which are offered through our innovative Center for Survivorship + Integrative Medicine.
Promoting healthy living through prevention, Middlesex Hospital hosts this exciting event every year to help you learn what you can do to prevent cancer and cancer recurrence. Prevention Day is free of charge and open to the public.
Survivor’s Day is a “celebration of life” where cancer survivors’ gather for a fun-filled day of musical entertainment, a keynote speaker, face painting, survivor photos, and much more. It is an annual, themed event that is free and open to all cancer survivors and their family members.
