Breast Center Events & Outreach
The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center hosts a variety of events to bring together patients, families, loved ones, and other community members who are connected by their experiences with cancer. We also offer a variety of seminars and classes to promote health and wellbeing.

Health and Fitness
From alleviating pain and anxiety to reducing the risk of recurrence, there are many proven benefits of regular exercise and stress-reducing practices for cancer patients and survivors. Patients, families, and community members can choose from a variety of traditional and alternative fitness and group therapeutic classes, many of which are offered through our innovative Center for Survivorship and Integrative Medicine.
Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Event
This exciting annual event occurs every year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. It is an educational program focused on breast health and is open to the community, free of charge.
Promoting healthy living through prevention, Middlesex Hospital hosts this exciting event every year to help you learn what you can do to prevent cancer. Prevention Day is free of charge and open to the public.
Survivor’s Day is a “celebration of life” where cancer survivors’ gather for a fun-filled day of musical entertainment, a keynote speaker, face painting, survivor photos, and much more. It is an annually held, themed event that is free and open to all cancer survivors and their family members.
