Physical Therapists focus on helping people restore their physical mobility and function through an individualized treatment program. Our physical therapist will perform a thorough evaluation of your movement including strength, range of motion, flexibility, balance, posture, body mechanics, coordination, endurance and general mobility such as walking and stair climbing.
Your physical therapist will then develop a treatment program targeted at your needs including education, exercise, stretching, manual therapy techniques and a home exercise program. The goal of your physical therapy program is to maximize your physical ability in order to improve the quality of your life.
Our physical therapists provide a variety of treatments for the rehabilitation of balance and vestibular impairments for fall prevention, biomechanical foot impairments with orthotic training as needed, cancer-related impairments including fatigue, bowel and bladder incontinence, lymphedema management, neurological deficits, orthopedic injuries, pelvic pain, persistent pain, pre-operative and post-operative limitations, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
