Balance can be impaired for a variety of reasons including but not limited to recent illness, chronic health conditions, mobility problems, neurological disorders, vestibular disorders, visual changes, sports injuries, aging and deconditioning.

Our physical therapists can evaluate your balance impairment and develop a unique treatment plan to meet your individual needs.  With balance retraining, exercise and education, your fall risk can be reduced.
What are potential fall risks?

Some risks for falls include but are not limited to difficulty standing and walking, loss of balance, past or recent falls, taking four or more medications, drops in blood pressure, dizziness, vision and hearing difficulties, and foot numbness and pain.
