Kinesio taping Technique
Several of our therapists are Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioners (KCTP). The Kinesio Taping® Method is a rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process. It can provide support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting mobility.
The tape used is Latex-free and can be worn for several days to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and other medical conditions. This therapeutic taping technique can help alleviate pain and inflammation, facilitate lymphatic drainage, enhance performance, prevent injury and promote good circulation and healing.
Several of our therapists have training in the Graston Technique®. This technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions.
Our therapists utilize these specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation, whether they are acute, post-surgical or persistent.
The Graston Technique® offers many advantages to our patients such as:
Decreased overall time of treatment
Fosters faster rehabilitation/recovery
Reduces need for anti-inflammatory medication
Resolves persistent conditions thought to be permanent

Several of our therapists are certified in the McKenzie Technique (cert. MDT) for treatment of the back, neck and extremities, which offers a gentle approach to restoring function and reducing pain.
The McKenzie Technique, also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), is an advanced assessment and treatment intervention following the teachings of the internationally recognized McKenzie Institute. It incorporates the philosophy of active patient involvement and education to provide successful outcomes.
