MIDDLETOWN — The goPINK Project raised more than $31,000 in 2018 to support Middlesex Health Cancer Center patients who have breast cancer.

The goPINK Project is a month-long fundraising effort that takes place every October. It’s in its ninth year, and 34 businesses, schools and local sports teams collectively raise money for the cause. This year’s fundraising events included the third annual fun run and goPINK kickoff parties at Baci Grill in Cromwell and Scotch Plains Tavern in Essex.

Throughout its history, goPINK has raised $217,833. This money has helped to provide free integrative medicine therapy sessions to 1,200 Middlesex breast cancer patients.
