Bruce E. Strober, MD, PhD, FAAD is a dermatologist at Central Connecticut Dermatology and Middlesex Health.
Dr. Strober is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He completed his residency at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine after earning his medical degree and doctorate at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Strober is particularly interested in caring for patients with difficult-to-treat inflammatory skin conditions, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. He is also interested in research of old and new therapeutics for these same conditions.
Prior to co-founding Central Connecticut Dermatology, Dr. Strober served as a professor and the chair of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He has extensive experience as an editor and reviewer for numerous journals and academic publications, and he has frequently presented data to the FDA. Dr. Strober is the secretary-treasurer of the Board of the International Psoriasis Council and Co-Scientific Director of the Corrona Psoriasis Registry.
