Types of Assisted Living Stays
Our permanent residents are our best advertisement. Many have found that once they moved into One MacDonough Place and made friends, they wish that they had made the move sooner.
But you can also try a Short-term stay — whether Residential, Respite or Vacation — to see if One MacDonough Place is truly the right place for you or your loved ones. Contact our Marketing Director, Elaine Hobart at (860) 358-5802 or e-mail Elaine_Hobart@midhosp.org to learn more.

Assisted Living Residential Stay
Many potential residents are at first uncertain about whether Assisted Living is right for them. They may choose to try living in the community on a short-term basis to see how they like it.
Assisted Living Respite Stay
Being ready to leave the hospital or rehabilitation center does not always mean that someone is ready to live at home alone. Recovery and recuperation can take time and require some personal attention. For those who may need short-term assistance, we can provide the 24-hour support and companionship not always available at home. It may be just what is needed to transition back to your former living arrangement.
Assisted Living Vacation Stay
It is hard to relax and really enjoy a vacation or getaway when you are worried that someone you love may need you when you are away. At One MacDonough Place, you can avoid this stress, confident that caring professional staff is available around the clock to assist residents with their daily needs. Vacation stays can be arranged to expose your family member to One MacDonough Place and give you the rest that you deserve.
Simply discuss your vacation plans with our Marketing Director, Elaine Hobart, and we will help to accommodate your needs.
