The Urology Department at Middlesex Hospital offers patients a multidisciplinary team approach to care. Members of the team include our board-certified urologists, registered nurses, nephrologists, pathologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, surgeons and more.
Robert D. Dwyer, M.D.
Dr. Dwyer, a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Georgetown University and Portsmouth Naval Hospital. A senior attending physician at Middlesex Hospital, Dr. Dwyer is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Richard O. Frink, M.D.
Dr. Frink is the Section Chief of Urology at Middlesex Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and also has specialized training in Radioactive Seed Implantation. Dr. Frink graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA.
Geoffrey E. Herter, M.D.
Dr. Herter is board certified by the American Board of Urology. A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, he completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Herter has additional special training in radioactive seed implantation and laser vasectomy.
Edward G. Myer, M.D.
Dr. Edward Myer specializes in minimally invasive surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the genitourinary system (the organs of the reproductive and urinary systems), including stone disease, voiding dysfunction, and kidney, bladder, and prostate cancer. He has specialized training in the da Vinci® Robotic Surgery System.
Timothy C. Siegrist, M.D.
Dr. Timothy C. Siegrist is a urologic surgeon with special training in the da Vinci® Robotic Surgery System. He specializes in the surgical treatment of prostate cancer using the da Vinci® robot, as well as the treatment of urological disorders including pelvic organ prolapse surgery and incontinence surgery.
