Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

We aim to improve the lives of children and families in the Middlesex Health service area by providing the highest quality mental health services. Whenever possible, we partner with community organizations so that the services provided are comprehensive. We are committed to being a positive participant in your family’s care.

Child and Family Outpatient Services

The Mental Health Outpatient Clinic offers families with children ages 5-18 services to meet their individual needs. These services include individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

We help children and adolescents, and their families understand and manage emotional, developmental, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. We address a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, grief, and more. We engage your whole family in meaningful ways so that your child can feel their best and reach their full potential.

IICAPS: Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services

Intensive in-home services for families with children and adolescents experiencing serious emotional and behavioral problems including:

• Those who are returning to family following hospitalization or out-of-home placement
• Children at risk of hospitalization
• Children for which outpatient services are not sufficient to allow the child to remain safely in the family.

IICAPS provides a team approach for 4-6 month intervention, providing in-home family and individual therapy.
