Virtual Urgent Care Visits

A virtual urgent care visit, also known as “telehealth,” allows patients to speak to one of our medical providers from the comfort of home using secure video conferencing.

We can use virtual visits to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from allergies and rashes to sprains and bug bites, UTIs, earaches, coughs, colds, flu, and much more.

If you’re insured, we’ll directly bill your carrier for the visit. Most commercial health insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, cover virtual visits.

However, some companies may end payments for virtual visits as we see fewer cases of COVID-19. Be sure to check with your insurance company if you have any questions about how your virtual visit will be billed.

For self-pay patients, a virtual urgent care visit costs $190, and payment will be asked for at the time of the visit. The $190 cost only covers the virtual visit and does not cover the cost of any lab charges, imaging orders, additional visits, or referrals.

In some instances, we’ll end up discovering during a telehealth appointment that a patient needs in-person testing, examination, or treatment. In that case, we will refer you to one of our nearby urgent care locations and prioritize your visit once you arrive.
